The Red Fox is one of the most widespread members of the order Carnivora, which includes bears, cats, canines, seals, hyenas, raccoons and other meat-eating mammals. Found throughout Europe, Asia and North America, the Red Fox is one of the most recognizable members of the Canidae family.
History: Foxes feature heavily in the folklore of many cultures. In Native American and European legends, the Fox is regarded as a clever trickster. In Asian cultures, Foxes appear in folklore as powerful spirits that can have as many as nine tails.
