Vitruv Man - Leonardo da Vinci 500th Anniversary - Revell

In any case, the Vitruv Man is an important piece of art history and one of the most symbolic representations of humanity. The Vitruv Man was drawn around 1490 in one of Leonardo's diaries. It depicts a naked male figure in two overlapping positions with his limbs extended and simultaneously inscribed in a circle and a square. Drawing and text are often called the Rule of Proportions.
